—William Gibbs McAdoo will not
run for president.
This announcement was made by
Mr. McAdoo in a lengthy state-
ment
The former secretary of the
treasury and director general of
the railroads is now employed as
director of the new billion dollar
merger of film companies in _
which Douglas Fairbanks, Mary • Neil O'Brien's
Pjekford, Charlie Chaplin and D.

His new position, which is ad
