DEMOCRATIC TERRITORIAL
CONVENTION.
Notice i.- here'05 given that a dele-
gate convention ot the democrats of
Oklahoma is called to meet at the
city of hi Reno, Oklahoma, at 2
o'clock |>. m., on June 5, 1900, for the
purpose of electi. g six delegates and
six alternates to attend the National
Oeffi'ocratic convention that meets in
Kansas City, Mo., on July 4, 1900, and
a National Democratic committee-
man for the territory of Oklahoma.
The basis of representation as de-
cided upon for said convention, was
one delegate for each 100 votes, or
major traction thereof, cast for Hon.
J. R. Keaton for delegate to congress
in 1898. This entitles each county in
the territory to the following nutn«
er of delegates:

It is further ordered that a dele-
gate convention of the democrats of
Okl .hooia i hereby called to meet
at the city of Oklahoma City on the
31st day of July, 1900, at 2 o'clock p.
m., for the purpose of nominating a
candidate for delegate to congress.
The basts of representation for the
various counties ; h;ul be the same as
that of the deh gate convention
above noted. It is recommended
that the county conventions be held
one week prior to the territorial con-
vention at Oklahoma City.
