It was recommend d that the coun-
ty conventions be held at the county
seats o fthe respective counties one
week prioi to the territorial conten-
tion at El Keno.
It is further ordered that a dele-
gate convention of the democrats of
Oklahoma is hereby called to meet
at the city of Oklahoma City on the
31st day of July, 1900, at 2 o'clock p.
for'the purpose of nominating a
candidate for delegate to congress.
The basis of representation for the
various counties shall be the same as
that of the delegate convention
above noted. It is recommended
that the county conventions be held
one week prior to the territorial con-
vention at Oklahoma City.

CONVENTION.
Notice is hereby given that a dele-
gate convention of the democrats of
Oklahoma is called to meet at the
cicy of El Reno, Oklahoma, at 2
o'clock p. ui., on June 5, 1900, for the
purpose of electing six delegates and
six alternates to attend the National
Democratic convention that meets in
Kansas City, Mo., on July 4, 1900, and
a National Democratic committee
man for the territory of Oklahoma
The basis of representation as de-
cided upon for said convention, was
one delegate for each 100 votes, or
major traction thereof, cast for Hon.
J. R. Keaton for delegate to congress
in 1898. This entitles each county in
the territory to the following num-
ber of delegates:
