There is a great facination to some advertisers about the word best; they seem
to think it is the finest word in the English language. They like it so well that they
use it all the time, without regard to veracity. We don't use the word "best very
often; when we do we mean it; we don't say our "whole stock is the best in town, be
cause, while it might be best to you there might be someone else who wanted a
cheaper article and to him it would not be the best stock in town, orrc-r
Just now, however, there are some special things we know must be BEST for
everybody, because they ate the highest quality and are priced lower tnan similar
goods of poorer quality. We are receiving daily our fall and winter stocks purchased
in the eastern markets by an experienced buyer for SPOT CASH. We do not
want the earth, but are satisfied with i small profit.
