About Columbian Stamps.
The following word of advice in re-
gard to buying Columbian stamps is
given stamp collectors by an author-
ity on the subject:
"Those who expect that the Colum-
bian stamps will increase greatly in
value should take warning by the
fate of the Columbian souvenir half
dollars. A great many of them were
sold for $1.00 each, double price, but
the government now flnds itself with
$1,795,980 worth of them on hand.
Those numismatists who were wise
enough to refrain from buying them
can now save fifty cents. The lesson
that this teaches is that before long
some of the stamp dealers will find
themselves with a large unsold stock
of Columbians on hand, and then will
come another slump. Don't be in a
hurry to buy Columbians. Wait
awhile, perhaps a year or two, and
they won't cost you so n.uch."

'•un at Home.
Do not be afraid of a little fun at
your home, good people. Do not shut
up your hearts, lest a laugh should
shake down a few of the old musty
cobwebs that are hanging there.
Young people must have fun and re-
laxation somewhere; if they do
not find it at their own home they will
seek it at other and less profitable
places. Therefore, let the doors and
windows be cheerfully thrown open,
and make the homestead delightful
with ail those little arts parents so
well understand. Half an hour of
merriment in a home blots ont th6
remembrance of many a care and
annoyance during the day, and the
best safeguard they can ta.ki with
them into the world is the ^bseen
influence of the bright home and
sanctum.
Cure For Headache.
As a remedy for the cure of all
kinds of headache Electric Bitters
has proved to be the very best. It
effects a permanent cure and the
most dreaded habitual sick headache
yields to its influence. We urge all
who are afflicted to procure a bottle
and give this remedy a fair trial. In j
cases of habitual constipation, Elec-!
trie Bitters cures by giving the need-
ed tone to the bowels, and few cases
long resist the use of this medicine.
