A shooting occurred at Fort Renoj
this afternoon which will probably cost
a negro soldier his life. Two men:
were concerned in the difficulty. One |
was a soldier who had been in the
guard house for some time, and who
was working as a prisoner. The other
was a guard. The two men were going
in a wagon, to Caddo Springs for a,
load of sand.

broke into a Rock Island car in the
yards here and feasted on the con-
twits of canned goods. Bill Stoneman

hoboes, who had scattered out through
