On Saturday night, February 19,
Miss Sudderth, high school assistant
and senior-sophomore sponsor enter-
tained the above mentioned classes.
Rook and dancing were the main en-
tertainments, while punch was served
throughout the evening. About mid-
night when the shadows were just
beginning to creep around a large
bon fire was built and weinies and
marshmallows were roasted and
toasted. We had a wonderful time.
Wish our sponsor would entertain us
agan. Don't you?
The junior play, "Safety First" will
be given about the middle of March
under the supervision of Miss Sud-
derth, senior-sophomore sponsor.
Curls are the fad of the freshies.
Boys are they imitation ?
Of all the classes of the high school
the seniors are partial to the sopho-
mores, and no class as appreciated

Lexington many have offered differ-
ent names such as Lexington, the In-
land City; or Lexington, the Queen
City of Cleveland County; Lexing-
ton, the Queen City of the South
Canadian Valley, and Lexington In-
land Agricultural City of the South
Canadian Valley.
In taking a vote by the merchants
whose advertising appears in the
double page, the name Queen City
had four votes, and the name Inland
City carried by the majority. If some
one has another name or names to
suggest a straw vote can be taken
| and we can thereby secure a double
