Young Men's Dem. Club cratic primary to be held March 3rd,
The Yoilrig Men's Democratic Cub
of Pauls Valley was organized the last
week. After a preliminary organization
the club met Thursday night, elected
officers and adopted a constitution and
by-laws. Roy }3urks was chose presi-
dent; Virgil Goodpasture, 1st' vice-
president; 0 W Jones, 2nd vice-presi-
dent; G. B, Haines, secretary; , J^sse
Chipman, treasurer; j D Mitchell, L L
Barnes and Hall Pavham were made
the Executive Committee of the Club.
The club is really a reorganization
of the famous club, which a year ago
played such an important part in the
city election, and it is likely to be
heard from again in the approaching
election. The object of the organiz-
ation is to promote the best interest of
Democracy and to secure harmony
among its adherents. The young
men believe that dissension in the
democratic ranks is tne sweetest of
music to the ears of republicans and
they neither, propose to have discord
among themselves nor encourage or ap-
prove it among others, as well as it
destroys dempcra,tic ty and prevents
the adoption of demo ;atic principles.
Under & , rule of their constitution
when a majority of its members speak
on any subject relating to the govern-
ment of the democratic party it makes
the Club a unit on the matter.
An enthusiastic meeting was held1
Tuesday evening, at which visitors A
D Burch. Moman Pruiett . and Dr. I
Young made speeches giving the!
young men some wholesome advice
and otherwise made splendid demo-
cratic speeches, which were approving- J
ly received with demonstrations.
The club will at a meeting to held
at the Mayor's office next Tuesday
night take up the consideration of the 1
candidates to be named by the Demo-1
for the purpose of selecting a! demo-
cratic ticket for the city offices who are
to be voted for in the general election
next April.

Our new wall papers are now arriving
every day and we have already a showing
that is superior to any spring stock we have
ever exhibited—and that is saying a good
deal. It may seem early to be talking spring
stocK but as last year's papers were practi-
cally all closed out in the fall, we placed our
orders early, the papers are here and we shall
be glad to show them to you. We have
beautiful papers at all prices from 10c to $1
a roll. No matter what room you want
covering for we have just the paper for it. We
have made a study of interior decoration and
can help you in obtaining most artistic effects
Time passes rapidly; begin to think of your paper-
ing now and look over our stock at once. It will give
you ideas even though it's not convenient to paper now.
