VOTES
tBy Matt Duhr)
Hon. Dennis ,J. Flynn, the pub-
lisher of the Sapulpa Daily Argus,
made the phenomenal congres-
sional race. He paid just two
cents to get all the republican
votes of Creek county, his home
county.
Mr. Flynn is the father of nine
children. Five of them work in
the Sapulpa Argus printery,
while the other Flynns make
themselves useful and ornament-
al in and around the sixteen room
Flynn residence.
Sapulpa can be justly proud of

The Daily Argus is circulated
by twelve quick-footed boys.
Mr. Dennis J. Flynn owns and
drives the finest pair of trotters
in Sapulpa.
Dennis J. Flynn of the Sapulpa
Argus filed for the reason that
he wanted some republican to
tile against the notorious "Cockle
Burr Bill."
Mr. Flynn was to a great ex-
tent successful.

Judge of Lincoln County.
Mr. Billingslea is an old friend
of the editor of this paper, we
having known him all of our life,
and we have always known him
to be a good friend, a good law-
yer, a fair dealing and courteous
gentleman. .Judge Billingslea is
in our opioion, a well qualified
candidate for this office, and it is
our prediction that if the good
people of this county elect Ira E.
Billingslea as their next County
Judge, the prisoners at bar will
receive justice, whether it be to
turn them loose or to send them
to the penitentiary.
